Yes, I believe it can happen. I think it is rather more infrequent than tv and film want you to believe, though. I think the most common mistake is thinking lust is love. Not that there is anything wrong with that, either. When you have a connection with something or someone and you listen to your gut, then you know it. What the other person feels and what they tell you is a different matter altogether.
Thanks for that response, I am going to digest this...and hopefully other people's responses also, and form my own...I have one now, but its got more holes in it than swiss cheese.
Love at first sight, no way. I'm with Fermicat on this one. But I do think there can be some kind of chemical connection with someone very, very quickly, and it can be the basis of something quite special.

I believe in infatuation at first sight, but I think that genuine love takes time because you have to get to know the person first.
